AEK Athens midfielder Giorgos Katidis has been banned from any Greek national team for life after making a Nazi salute while celebrating scoring the winning goal in a Greek league game, the BBC reported. Greek Football Association said Katidis's action was a "serious provocation" to all Nazi victims. The 20-year-old Kaditis apologized via the media and said he was simply pointing to a team-mate and was ignorant about the meaning of the salute. (See photo)
